About Us

TCCTadworth Cricket Club was established in 1903 and is an integral part of village life.

We have a picturesque ground with a great quality square and well-manicured outfield.  A great place to play or watch your cricket!

Tadworth CC are situated just outside Tadworth only a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre and Tadworth train station. Located on the triangle between Mill Road, Dorking Road and The A217 just north of Reigate or Junction 8 of the M25. We benefit from a superb pavilion and outfield.  In addition to the excellent playing facilities, the club has two changing rooms and shower facilities and an extensive, recently re-furbished bar and entertainment area.

Tadworth CC runs two senior sides on a Saturday, the 1st & 2nd XIs playing in the Surrey Downs League. There is also a Sunday XI playing friendly cricket and we have mid week teams which play20:20 cricket and other friendlies – which include playing local and touring teams.

In Junior cricket the club looks to compete with bigger local clubs. Our Junior Section is recognised/endorsed by our ECB Clubmark Accreditation which we first achieved in 2010 and has been re-accredited regularly since.  We boast a very strong junior colts section which is open to boys and girls of ALL abilities and age groups. Our Junior Squads U9 through to U16play in the North East & Central Surrey Colts League and have historically been very successful with league and cup honours with squads at U9 through to U15.

This is endorsed by a number of junior girls and boys also representing Surrey at both District and County levels  The club also has specific training sessions for 6 to 7 year olds where our coaches introduce the game of cricket and skills to them with fun the main learning driver. Our Friday night coaching sessions are the envy of many clubs and are a very social way for children and parents alike to end the working week..

Close links are being developed with local schools including Chinthurst School, Aberdour, Walton on the Hill Primary and Tadworth Primary. The club also seeks to maximise the potential of the product of its Colts section by ensuring young players are promoted into the senior sides as soon as is appropriate.  The Club also has several local sponsors from Tadworth Village and we look to promote the use, by members, of local shops and restaurants to maintain our links with and contribution to village life

Tadworth Cricket Club is run by members for the members and we take the development of the club very seriously. We will always ensure that whilst enjoying ourselves, the highest standards are maintained throughout the club both on and off the pitch.

The success of Tadworth CC cannot happen without the support of all our senior and junior cricketers, parents, supporters and volunteers and for that we express our gratitude.

We look forward to welcoming old and new members to Tadworth CC in 2017 and beyond.
